Dawn is a consultant who works within schools and gives workshops across Canada. She has published 12 books used by educators across North America, Australia, and in several other countries. Her practices are easily integrated within existing curriculum. Dawn has an M. Ed in Special Education from the University of Victoria.

EAs have a valuable role in reinforcing and strengthening a student’s ability and motivation to learn. The intent of this session is to emphasize a repertoire of evidence-based practices EAs might find helpful when working with students who need academic support in reading and/or writing. Handouts include Collaborative Planning Tools and some selected practices for reading and writing.
